Manchester City star Oscar Bobb has insisted that the previous six months have exceeded his expectations, despite being concerned about his future at Etihad.

Bobb joined the Citizens in 2019 and progressed through Manchester City's youth ranks.

In September 2023, he made his City debut against Fulham at the Etihad Stadium, winning 5-1.

Bobb admitted to feeling uncertain about his future opportunities; however, the past six months surpassed his expectations, bringing immense happiness.

He insisted that, despite his debut nerves, the team's winning streak and quality football eased his apprehension.

The Norwegian attacker believes playing against top-tier opponents felt surprisingly smooth, thanks to the support and camaraderie of his teammates.

Bobb told BBC Sport: "I came here at 16 and the dream was to become a part of the manager’s team and the first team at this club.

"I got that opportunity at the start of the season but I didn’t know what to expect in terms of opportunities, but I’m very happy with the last six months.

"I was quite nervous [on debut] but then again the team was winning and playing good football. Playing with these players, against top opposition, they make it so easy."

The 20-year-old Norwegian international has accumulated 16 appearances for City this season, finding the net twice.
