Former Hibernian star Tam McManus has insisted that the Hibs must be aggressive in and around the box in order to convert performances into victories.

Hibernian are currently placed in 7th place in the Scottish Premiership table with 31 points after drawing 1-1 against Hearts in their last match.

McManus believes Hibernian should have taken all three points against Aberdeen and against Hearts.

He insists that the Hibs need to be more ruthless in and around the box in order to convert these performances into wins.

McManus wrote in his Daily Record column: "They should have took three points at Aberdeen, should have won at Tynecastle and were unlucky against Celtic with the two penalties.

"They need to turn performances into wins and that means being more ruthless in and around the box - starting when Ross County come to town tomorrow.

"Middle to front Hibs look really good but they need to bury the chances.

"Emiliano Marcondes, Martin Boyle and Myziane Maolida are all creating lots of opportunities.

"I’d love to be playing up top in this team."

Hibernian will look to take all three points as they take on Ross County in the league at home.
